Description
Product Description & Mechanism
KT-36 is a maleic anhydride grafted polyester elastomer. It acts as a coupling agent between biodegradable resins such as PLA or PBAT and natural fillers such as starch or mineral powders. Reactive groups bond to filler surfaces, and the polyester backbone is compatible with biodegradable matrices, improving filler dispersion, mechanical performance and processability.
Target Applications & Key Features
- Compatibility improvement for biodegradable resins/natural filler composites
- Facilitates homogeneous dispersion of starch and mineral powders.
